Quest’anno la terza edizione di Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar – l’unica fiera specializzata nel tessile per la casa e per la decorazione che si svolge in Spagna – è stata ospitata all’interno de La Caja Magica, a Madrid, dal 7 al 9 settembre. Con un totale di 171 presenze tra aziende e brand, si è rivelata la più partecipata di tutte le precedenti edizioni, con un aumento del numero degli espositori di circa il 7% e con una crescita globale di spazio espositivo di oltre il 34% rispetto a quello occupato nell’edizione del 2016. Nei Padiglioni della Fiera, ecco quindi aziende spagnole e portoghesi di fascia premium di settori come il tessile per la casa e la decorazione d’interni, tappezzeria, editoria tessile e biancheria per la casa che, attraverso una ampissima gamma prodotti eccellenti, hanno tracciato anche le nuove linee di tendenza per il settore.
QUATTRO SUPER-TREND PER IL 2018
Uno degli obiettivi di Home Textiles Premium, è infatti proprio quello di mettere a fuoco le linee di tendenza per la prossima stagione. E la manifestazione che ha voluto valorizzare il proprio ruolo di trend setter con mostra dedicata: “Trends 2018”. Così analizzando le oltre 300 nuove collezioni proposte globalmente in Fiera dai produttori spagnoli e portoghesi, e gli innumerevoli disegni che combinano tecnologia, sostenibilità, trattamenti tecnici di colore e fantasie etniche, Home Textiles Premium – grazie a consulenti specializzati di moda e progettazione di Contexto Comunicación, ha identificato i quattro principali concetti-guida dell astagione 2017/2018 denominandoli: De Rerum Natura, Farbenlehre, Lux Perpetua e Pan Oikos. I 4 trend sono stati visualizzati attraverso campioni di tessuto e con un riferimento cromatico riassuntivo espresso da tonalità Pantone.
De Rerum Natura: l’impegno dell’uomo verso il suo ambiente
I progressi tecnologici applicati a soluzioni sostenibili offrono risultati inaspettati: miscele ibride di tessuti naturali, artificiali e sintetici, con texture organiche e con tessuti “aperti” – intricati e con superfici porose. La tecnologia ora può essere indossata; sensori intelligenti combinati a decorazioni e finiture -che reagiscono ai cambiamenti ambientali, offrono una protezione impareggiabile. Il benessere può essere raggiunto anche attraverso tessuti medicali intelligenti, che guariscono e nutrono il corpo e migliorano le prestazioni.
Farbenlehre: la teoria dei colori
Colori luminosi e pieni di vita, energici e “allucinogeni”, che interpretano un aspetto della realtà caleidoscopico e multiforme: ecco il senso di questa tendenza che “gioca” con i colori chimici, con i colori fisiologici -quelli che l’occhio umano genera piuttosto che quelli immaginari, fantastici o spettrali, e con i colori fisici – creati dalla luce che passa attraverso acqua, vetro o foschia. Sono tessuti ad alte prestazioni testati in condizioni di massimo stress, lavorati con trattamenti tecnici che accentuano le tonalità grazie a finiture semi-lucide, lucide e super-lucide e alle loro combinazioni.
Lux Perpetua:nano tec
L’industria cerca di “catturare”, nei tessuti, la luce, riflettendola e mutandola. La nuova generazione di tessuti ad infusione leggera utilizza super-superfici leggere che l’occhio percepisce in modi diversi. Per ottenere questo effetto, si impiegano la tecnologia di refrigerazione e i filamenti iridescenti. Si ottengono così tessuti composti da micro-tessuti e anche da nano-tessuti (con tessitura quasi invisibile all’occhio), ultra leggeri, che includono fibre naturali e raffinate al massimo livello. Una nuova interpretazione della trasparenza della luce, facilitata dai processi digitali.
Pan Oikos mix di culture
Il termine si riferisce alla volontà di scoprire che cosa hanno in comune le varie culture e le loro produzioni artistiche e creative. Si tratta di rilanciare il piacere della riscoperta e della comprensione per poter finalmente apprezzare la ricchezza della diversità; di evidenziare l’imperfezione come un aspetto della bellezza (wabi-sabi); di rafforzare il valore dell’imperfezione quando è un difetto impreziosendo la riparazione (kintsugi).

This year the third Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar – the only trade fair specializing in textiles of the home and decoration, which is held in Spain – has been hosted inside of the La Caja Magica, in Madrid, from September 7 to 9. With a total of 171 attendands, between companies and brands, it turned out to be the most visited of all the previous editions. The number of visitors increased by circa 7% and global participation in the exhibition space by over 34%, compared with the fair in 2016. In the Fair Pavilion were premium Spanish and Portuguese companies in sectors such as textiles for the home and interior decoration, tapestries, textile-related publications, and linens for the home which, through a very vast range of excellent products, also set new trend lines for the sector.
FOUR SUPER-TRENDS FOR 2018
One of the goals of Home Textiles Premium, in fact, is that of focusing on trend lines for the upcoming season. And the event wished to bring out its role as a trend setter with a dedicated exhibition called, “Trends 2018”. As a result, by analyzing the over 300 collections proposed globally at the fair by Spanish and Portuguese producers, and the innumerable designs which combined technology, sustainability, color treatment techniques, and ethnic patterns, Home Textiles Premium – thanks to the specialized fashion and design consultants at Contexto Comunicación, identified four main guideline concepts for the 2017-2018 season giving them the following names: De Rerum Natura, Farbenlehre, Lux Perpetua, and PanOikos. The four trends were visualized through textile samples and with a summarized chromatic reference expressed by Pantone tones.
De Rerum Natura: man’s efforts with regards to his environment
Technological processes applied to sustainable solutions offer unexpected results. Hybrid mixtures of natural, artificial, and synthetic fabrics with organic textures and “open” textiles which are intricate and have a porous surface. Technology which can now be worn. Intelligent sensors combined with decoration and finishes which react to environmental changes, offering unparalleled protection. Well-being can be attained even through medically intelligent fabrics which heal and nourish the body, improving its performance.
Farbenlehre: the theory of colors
Colors that are bright and full of life, energy and “psychedelic”, which interpret a kaleidoscope and multi-form aspect of reality. This is the meaning of this trend which “plays” with chemical colors, with physiological colors – those which the human eye generates rather than those which are imaginary, fantastic, or spectral, and with physical colors – created by light that passes through water, glass, or mists. These are high-performance textiles tested in conditions of maximum stress, worked with technical treatments which accentuate tones thanks to semi-glossy, glossy, and super-glossy finishes and combinations of these.
Lux Perpetua: nano tech
The industry seeks to “capture” light in fabrics, reflecting it and changing it. The new generation of light infusion textiles uses light super-surfaces which the eye perceives in different ways. To obtain this effect, refrigeration technologies and iridescent filaments are used. In this manner textiles composed of micro-textiles and even nano-textiles (whose weave is almost invisible to the naked eye), ultra-light, which include natural and refined fibers at the maximum level. A new interpretation of the transparency of light facilitated by digital processes.
PanOikos: mix di culture
The term refers to the desire to discover what various cultures and their artistic and creative productions have in common. This means re-launching the pleasure of re-discovering, and the understanding to be able to finally appreciate the richness of diversity. To show imperfection as an aspect of beauty (wabi-sabi); to reinforce the value of imperfection when a defect makes the repair precious (kintsugi).
